Lighting a Path for Animals: The Mission Behind Wanderlust Candle Company

When I founded Wanderlust Candle Company, I knew from the very beginning that my passion for creating beautiful, aromatic candles would also serve a greater purpose.  As a lifelong animal lover, it was important for me to intertwine my business with a mission that I care so deeply about: supporting organizations dedicated to advocating for the welfare of animals in need.

Every candle that leaves my workshop carries with it a promise to contribute to the lives of suffering animals. I believe that businesses have the power to create positive change, and I am committed to ensuring that a portion of our sales proceeds goes to organizations that share this vision.

Among the many amazing organizations making a difference, three stand out as my favorites: the Humane World for Animals, the White Coat Waste Project, and the ASPCA. Each of these organizations plays a vital role in promoting animal welfare and advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves.

The Humane World for Animals works to protect animals through education, advocacy, and direct rescue efforts. Their dedication to ending cruelty and ensuring every animal has a loving home resonates deeply with my mission.

The White Coat Waste Project focuses on ending animal testing, advocating for a future where animals are no longer subjected to unnecessary suffering in the name of research. Their efforts to promote humane alternatives align with my belief that compassion should guide all our decisions.

Lastly, the ASPCA has been a longstanding champion for animal rights, providing rescue, rehabilitation, and shelter for countless animals in distress. Their commitment to ending animal cruelty inspires me to continue my journey in supporting them.
